THis is a great nonmakeup album. Perfect if ur just getting into the nonmakeup era. A good album but dont make it ur first ever. Not the classic kiss sound.

Pretty solid set

I grew up with the non-makeup era of KISS, so I’m a little partial to this set. My only complaint about this compilation is that "Who Wants To Be Lonely" from the ASYLUM album is not on here. If you’re interested in checking out KISS in their non-makeup era, this set is for you.

Yes, there are those of us who liked post-makeup KISS

Kudos to 20th Century Masters for making a compilation of the best of the "other" KISS. While most of the KISS fan-base will shriek and howl at these tracks because they signified their 70s icons losing their image and becoming just another hair band, the music is still awesome. "Forever" has always been one of my favorite "monster ballads".
