Great Album by the best band in K-pop
by Beauty770 - 29/11/2016

To call Big Bang "K-pop" is almost criminal. They surpassed your average Korean pop music a long time ago. The guys aren’t just K-idols, they’re musicians, and G-Dragon’s writing, composition, and production is on par with the most renouned pop writers in the world.
This is Big Bang’s best work. This album is exponetially better than last year’s "Tonight" EP, and that’s a huge statement, considering the excellent work Tonight was. If Heartbreaker was G-Dragon’s "Thriller", this album is his Mona Lisa. Each song is different, and yet each song stands on it’s own as a track. Each of these songs deserves to be a single, and YG was forward thinking enough to promote the entire album as "title tracks", giving this work it’s rightful recognition. There isn’t a miss on this album, each song is better than the last. If you want to dance, you’ll love "Fantastic Baby", and if you’re feeling down, the mellow hit "Blue" will match perfectly with your mood.
Big Bang went back to their hip-hop roots with "Bad Boy," giving us a smooth R&B style song with heavy influences of the hip-hop music of last decade.
Coming off of two scandals within the group in 2011, this album announces that the Kings of K-pop are back, and are not giving up their spot any time soon. Big Bang are the absolute best, when it comes to artistry, and if you want good quality music, it doesn’t matter if you’re into K-pop, or if you understand Korean; these boys are bound to impress. This album is amazing. The world will be seeing a lot more from these five in the future.
