The quality of At The Cross is HORRENDOUS! It has to be some technical glitch because I’ve purchased many of the Gaither recordings from iTunes and have never noticed this before. Really disappointed because the songs seem to have been produced beautifully.
Truly Amazing and Spectacular!

WOW! amazing! and again I mean WOW! this CD truly is the best GVB album yet, what a way to end this part in GVB’s Era, on a awesome moving note, Spectacular Job GVB.
P.S Mark and Michael we will miss you in the group, but we will never forget your amzing contribution of voice talent and full heart to the Vocal Band.

As a music critic, after listening to this album I thought I’d sit down and write an unofficial brief summary of my thoughts, some initial; some gathered over the time I’ve been listening to the album. I’ve been following and listening to the Gaithers from the very beginning, and have been a number one fan.
On this album, overall, I was disappointed. Although the singers are as phenomenal as they have always been, the production is the worst I’ve ever heard from the Gaithers. AutoTune was used to the point of excess, the vocals (as well as orchestra and overall mix) were squashed flat and inert instead of the three-dimensional beauty that they normally produce, and there are many obvious and embarrassing editing and technical glitches. The best thing about this record is the acoustic and electric guitars, and if everything sounded that good, this record would be a winner.
That being said, I can’t stop listening to a few of the songs, and many of these songs are phenomenal. It’s simply that the production is so cheap that makes the album less of a success than it could have been. If this was an independent artist, it would be understandable - it’s just that one expects so much more from an artist with the profile of these.
Fine job, Gaithers!
