The Doors
por SoulrunnerPS - 29/11/2016

They were and are misunderstood and definitely underrated. Robby was and still is brilliant on the guitar. Ray providing bass with keyboard was again brilliant and far ahead of the time. Jim’s lyrics masterful. They were a group of musicians who should have been aloud to simply perform. Their appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show is legendary. Being threaten to never coming back Morrison replied, "we just were!" One of my favorites part of the movie ’The Doors.’

RIP Ray Manzarek - great album

I’ve always loved the Doors and this performance in general is really one of their best because you can hear Ray absolutely kill it on his solos time and time again. He was a genius. As were Jim and Robby and John. Ray shall be missed.

Simply Superb! The Doors rock the bowl...

In the summer of 1968, a legendary band hit the stage at the Hollywood Bowl and rock history was made.
